Salvation
Salvation in Christianity means 'deliverance
from the power or penalty of sin.' We receive salvation when we
admit that we cannot but go to hell for our sins and believe that
Jesus saved us from all our sins through His birth, baptism and
the blood on the Cross.
Those who become sinless by believing
in the salvation of Jesus, the baptism and blood of Jesus, are called
'the saved, the born again, and the righteous.'
We can apply the word 'salvation'
to those who have been saved from all their sins, including
the original sin and their daily sins, by believing in Jesus. Just
as a drowning man is saved, one who is drowning in the sin of the
world can be saved by believing in Jesus as his/her Savior, by believing
in His baptism and blood, the words of the spiritual truth.
