What Are the Main Works
of the Holy Spirit?
The Holy Spirit does the work of sealing
the hearts of the saints who have been forgiven of their sins by
believing in the gospel Word of the water and the Spirit.
The Holy Spirit works in our hearts
according to our faith in the written Word of truth.
1) He bears witness to the fact
that the Word of God is true. The Holy Spirit guarantees the
hearts of those who believe in the Word of the baptism of Jesus
and the Cross. As such, when one believes in Jesus’ baptism and
the blood of the Cross, the One who approves his/her faith as right
is God the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit works among those who most
certainly believe in the written Word. The Holy Spirit approves
the faith of those who believe in the gospel of the water and the
Spirit. He guarantees, in other words, those who believe that Jesus
came to this earth and blotted out the sins of the world with His
baptism and blood.
2) The Holy Spirit is with the
righteous, and makes them testify the gospel of the water and the
Spirit to sinners. In John 16:8-9, Jesus said, “And when
He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness,
and of judgment: of sin, because they do not believe in Me.” The
Holy Spirit reaffirms the gospel of the water and the Spirit in
the hearts of the righteous (John 14:26). He bears witness of what
the Lord has done. He enable us to know that Jesus came to this
earth, took upon the sins of the world by being baptized, and died
on the Cross, and He allows us to believe in them.

3) He makes us believe in God and
to call upon Him. The Holy Spirits makes the righteous pray.
Romans 8:15 states, “For you did not receive the spirit of bondage
again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we
cry out, ‘Abba, Father.’” The Holy Spirit enables the saints
to call and believe in God as “Abba, Father.”
4) The Holy Spirit makes us work
with the gifts that He has given us. He enables us to do the
works of the righteousness of God with His abilities. 1 Corinthians
15:10 states, “But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His
grace toward me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than
they all, yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.”
5) The Holy Spirit leads us until
we enter Heaven. The Holy Spirit enables the righteous to keep
their faith until they reach the Kingdom of the Lord, and remains
with them as their Teacher.
